In 2017, Choovie launched as a B2C offering, selling movie tickets directly to customers with dynamic pricing. When cinemas had empty seats, prices dropped. It was simple: fill cinemas, delight movie fans.
Then 2020 happened. COVID closed cinemas worldwide, and like many others, we took a hard look at our business. Digging deeper into the data revealed an even greater opportunity.
Movie fans wanting discounts often bought tickets through corporate loyalty programs. But most programs offered little more than a link to a voucher. We knew we could provide a better experience at a better price, so we built the first version of our MyBrand Movies platform.
Choovie Group was born.
